As we celebrate the Day of the Dead, we are learning about traditional Mexican rituals, the culture, and the holiday. Ms. Stone, Ms. Tobi, and I spent an afternoon creating Sugar Skulls for the 5th graders to decorate.  In Art Class, we have been creating pumpkins, skeletons, marigold paper flowers and flags. We plan on having an Oferenda in the main entrance of the Brick building where students and staff can contribute to it throughout the week.

Monday Morning Meeting will be about the holiday and our month-long topic: GRATITUDE.

I will also be showing this video during MMM as a refresher about Dia de los Muertos.
